Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Good To Go In AFC Title Game
The Kansas City Chiefs entire fanbase had their heart in their mouths during their Divisional Round win over the Jacksonville Jaguars when Patrick Mahomes went down with an ankle injury, but today, the Chiefs confirmed the best news possible.
Head Coach Andy Reid confirmed that despite the injury, Mahomes practiced throughout the week and will 100% good to go against the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game, as they look to finally overcome the team that ended their season in heartbreaking fashion a season ago.
If the Chiefs can get through the Bengals, the two week break before the Super Bowl will be a godsend for Mahomes and his injury, but right now, he's proving just how much the game and the Chiefs mean to him, as it looks like he's prepared to play through whatever it takes.Chiefs HC Andy Reid confirms Patrick Mahomes (ankle) will start Sunday vs. Bengals noting "he's moving around good."
