Kansas City Chiefs Designate Running Back To Return From Injured Reserve
The Kansas City Chiefs played well enough in the regular season to earn themselves a bye week in round one of the playoffs, and now, armed with an extra week of rest, there's a chance that they get themselves a massive boost ahead of their Divisional Round clash with the red-hot Jacksonville Jaguars.
Today, the team officially designated running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire to return from Injured Reserve, and while he may not make it back for this weekends clash, there's a solid chance that if the Chiefs can come away with a win, he'll return to the field at some point.
On the year, he hasn't been as productive as the team could have hoped, with rookie Isaiah Pacheco and Jerik McKinnon leading the way, but if he can step back in and play a role down the stretch, this team will be the one to beat in the AFC.#Chiefs are designating RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire to return from IR and he will practice today.
