Indianapolis Colts Request To Interview Three Young Coordinators For Head Coach Role
The Indianapolis Colts came into the 2022 season with the confidence and talent of a playoff squad, but unfortunately, their lack of consistency at the Quarterback position has once again plagued them, as they fired Head Coach Frank Reich mid-season, before making former Colts centre Jeff Saturday the Interim Head Coach.
Firstly, the team has requested to interview both coordinators for the Detroit Lions, with rising star offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as well as defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, and along with that, they'll also look to interview the Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, who is also drawing interest from the Denver Broncos.
If this team is able to get healthy and get themselves a Quarterback, they'll be a force to be reckoned with in 2023, but all of that rests on their Head Coach, so they need to make the right decision, whether it's bringing someone new in or rolling with Jeff Saturday.Colts submitted requests to the Lions to interview defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for their head coaching job, per source.
