Houston Texans Will Evaluate Head Coach At The End Of 2022
While the Houston Texans weren't expected to be a great team in 2022, they were even worse than many believed them to be, with a 2-13-1 record with one game to go in the season, and with the No. 1 overall pick combined with a solid young core, this is a team that could be on the rise in the coming years if they nail all of their moves.
One move they'll have to be confident in is the Head Coach position, and while Lovie Smith hasn't been confirmed as the teams leader going forward, the franchise is going to take a serious look at the position at seasons end.
Given the state of the organization, it's tough to see exactly which direction they'll go in, but one thing is for sure, with the No. 1 pick, a top running back and potential at wide receiver, this is a team that could definitely take a step forward in 2023.Texans plan to evaluate Lovie Smith's future at end of season; staff changes possible if Smith gets second year, per @RapSheet + @TomPelisserohttps://t.co/y4kMmjVuFY pic.twitter.com/IStXNIMgXY
