Houston Texans Veteran Expects To Be Traded This Off-Season
The Houston Texans are moments away from clinching the No. 1 overall draft pick for the 2023 NFL Draft, which signals that they are in the middle of a long rebuild, so heading into this off-season, it's likely that they'll look to move some veteran pieces to get younger.
One player that this applies heavily to is Brandin Cooks, who many believed would be traded at the trade deadline earlier this season, and heading into the off-season, he reportedly expects to finally be moved before the final season of his career.
Cooks has been an incredibly consistent receiver over the time of his nine-year career, racking up 1,000 yards six times, and while there's going to be plenty of movement this off-season, he could be one of the most valuable players moved for a playoff team.Veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks reflects on final game with #Texans with offseason trade expected: ‘One last go ‘round, let the chips fall where they may’ @KPRC2 @KPRC2RandyMc @KPRC2Ari @KPRC2Chancellor https://t.co/KtC2ZQ25xd
