Houston Texans General Manager Caserio's Status Uncertain
The Houston Texans are coming off one of their worst seasons in franchise history, and it has cast doubt over the direction of the franchise. NFL insider Josina Anderson reports the future of general manager Nick Caserio is currently uncertain.
Im told there's still uncertainty surrounding the current front office situation with the Houston #Texans, to put it respectfully, per league source.

While, the current structure assists ownership in navigating this offseason for the time being, it is tenuous at best. We'll see.
Caserio stated multiple times at a Monday press conference that his status with the team may very well depend on the needs and desires of whatever head coach the team settles on. Caserio finds himself in the bizarre and tenuous position of helping ownership pursue a coach that may very well cost him his job.
Caserio joined the Texans in 2021 and has overseen a 4-13 season and a 3-13-1 season. If the team (or whatever coach they hire) decides that he doesn't have a place in the organization, he could potentially latch back on with the New England Patriots. He served as Director of Player Personnel for the team from 2008 to 2020.
