Guggemos has bounced from team to team during the first two years of his career before joining the Packers' practice squad in late November. The team obviously liked enough of what they saw to bring him back for next year.
Unfortunately, the twenty-seven-year-old never was elevated to the active roster and is still looking to play his first career NFL snap.
Measuring in at 6-foot-5, 247 pounds, Guggemos has the size to make a big impact on the playing field. We'll see if the Packers can develop him into a regular playing tight end.
Guggemos is an undrafted tight end out of St. Thomas and has spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders during the 2021 preseason before signing on with the Cleveland Browns last December.
