The New York Giants originally signed Austin Allen as an undrafted free agent this spring, but with rookie TE Daniel Bellinger stepping up as the starter, the team decided to cut him loose.
Allen, out of Nebraska, won Big Ten tight end of the year following a 2021 season where he made 38 receptions for 602 yards and two touchdowns.
Allen definitely has some potential and it will be interesting to see if he gets an opportunity to make his NFL debut and more with the Packers.
