Frontrunner For Los Angeles Rams Offensive Coordinator Role Revealed
The Los Angeles Rams completely fell apart in 2022 in their defence of the 2021 Super Bowl victory, but with the likes of Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald and Matthew Stafford all expected back from injury, we could see a major comeback for LA.
If they are to do that, they'll need to fill their Offensive Coordinator role, and while there's plenty of candidates, it appears that former New York Jets Offensive Coordinator Mike LaFleur is the frontrunner to land the coveted role.
While the Jets fell off late in the 2022 season, they started very well, and if Stafford can stay healthy, LaFleur has the ability to be a very good play caller, and under Sean McVay, could finally realize his potential as a coach.I’m told Mike LaFleur currently* “has the inside track” on being named the offensive coordinator for the #Rams, barring a pivot in communications since LaFleur has options, per league sources. Obviously nothing is ever done until papers are signed.
