Detroit Lions Safety Expected To Return To Practice

The Detroit Lions have a big week coming up, because if the Seattle Seahawks fall in the early window, they'll be playing the Green Bay Packers for a spot in the playoffs, if not, the Sunday Night Football matchup will be all about keeping their division rivals from a playoff spot.

However, they'll attack the week like they're playing for their lives, which they are, so getting back a major piece of their defence will be a huge boost, as the team confirmed DeShon Elliott will be returning to practice to test his shoulder out this week, with the hopes that he can step back on the field for the regular season finale.

The fourth year pro is in his first season with Detroit, and has played well all year long, and if they do indeed end the year playing Green Bay for a playoff spot, having him back would be a massive boost to their chances.
