Fountain joined the Bears' practice squad in October but failed to appear in a game down the stretch. However, the organization is giving him another shot and he'll look to secure himself a role with the team in 2023.
The fifth-year receiver has recorded just two receptions for 23 yards in his career and has not been targeted since his 2020 season when he played for the Indianapolis Colts.
The twenty-seven-year-old is a former fifth-round pick by the Colts in the 2018 NFL Draft.
