Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals Suspended Following Serious Injury
A horrifying scene has forced a stop to Monday Night Football's AFC matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field following a collision. He was administered CPR and oxygen before being placed onto a stretcher. An ambulance was brought onto the field to transport Hamlin to a nearby hospital. The injury has led to an extended suspension of play.
The injury was severe enough that both teams were sent to the locker room. ESPN reported during the broadcast that the league is considering delaying the game until a later date. The thoughts and prayers of all of Bills Mafia are supporting you, Damar. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/lDWNAOEPX4

Suspensions of play are exceedingly rare in professional football outside of debilitating weather events. The Bills witnessed a horrifying neck injury to defensive back Dane Jackson in a Week 2 matchup with the Tennessee Titans that necessitated an onfield ambulance. The Bills and Titans completed the game, but the somberness of tonight's scene exceeds any in recent NFL history.
Hopefully, some good news will soon follow.
