Buccaneers To Interview Giants QB Coach For OC Role
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are potentially undergoing a massive overhaul this off-season, with Tom Brady likely on the way out, following their Offensive Coordinator Byron Leftwich, and before they can look for the GOAT's replacement, they'll need to find him a new coordinator.
In the past few weeks, Tampa have been one of the most active teams in search of a new coach for the position, and they've set up another interview this week, this time with New York Giants Quarterback Coach Shea Tierney.
Tierney has had a variety of roles between Alabama and the NFL since 2013, and the work he's done with Josh Allen and Daniel Jones in recent years certainly hasn't gone unnoticed, as he is a bright young coach that's ready to take the next step.#Giants QB coach Shea Tierney will interview with the #Buccaneers for their vacant OC position, sources say. Tierney has worked closely with HC Brian Daboll with Alabama, the #Bills and NYG, and the development of Daniel Jones this past season has been noticed around the league.
