Baltimore Ravens Request To Interview Kansas City Chiefs Coach For OC Role
The Baltimore Ravens 2022 season fell apart in a big way towards the end with the injury to Lamar Jackson, but with an elite defence, they feel good about their chances of a deep playoff run if they can find consistency on the offensive side of the ball.
Priority No. 1 to making that happen will be finding a veteran Offensive Coordinator after the team let go of Greg Roman, and this week, it appears they're going after some very big names, as they've officially requested to interview Eric Bieniemy, who currently serves as the Offensive Coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs.
He's interviewed for plenty of Head Coach roles in the past few years, but has remained with the Chiefs, and while it's hard to see him leaving Patrick Mahomes and the tutelage of Andy Reid, it certainly makes sense for these teams to try and pry him away.Chiefs’ offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has been requested to interview for the Ravens’ offensive coordinator job, per sources. Bieniemy also remains under consideration for the Colts’ HC job that he has interviewed for, and the Titans’ OC job, amongst other situations.
