Baltimore Ravens Name Starting QB For Week 18
The Baltimore Ravens are one of several teams playing meaningless games in Week 18, and while we see the likes of Tampa Bay looking to play their starters and gain momentum ahead of the playoffs, we've seen the New York Giants rest several players in order to be cautious, and this morning, we've found out that the Baltimore Ravens will also take the latter approach.
Not only is Lamar Jackson out, but J.K. Dobbins and Mark Andrews as well, so it now makes sense that the Ravens will be cautious with their backup QB, as they've officially announced that Tyler Huntley will be rested, and instead, Anthony Brown will get the start.
Brown, a rookie out of Oregon, has thrown just 5 passes in the NFL to date, but he's shown plenty of promise for Baltimore during practice, and if he can be a solid option for them this week, it increases the chances of him finding a backup job somewhere in the NFL.The #Ravens are starting QB Anthony Brown today. He took the majority of reps in practice and the team wants to make sure Snoop Huntley is healthy for the playoffs in case Lamar Jackson can't go. Brown's first ever start.
