Baltimore Ravens Likely To Franchise Tag Star Quarterback
The Baltimore Ravens have all the pieces they need on the defensive side of the ball to compete at the highest level in the NFL, but unfortunately, the offence just hasn't kept up, and if they are to do so, they'll need to make a decision on Lamar Jackson this off-season.
Jackson has been the centre of plenty of trade speculation over the past month, and while they can still tag and trade him, this is likely a bridge season to a major deal going forward, but either way, it looks like we are going to finally get some clarity on the situation over the coming months.
In five seasons with Baltimore, Jackson has become one of, if not the best dual threat Quarterback in the league, arguably of all time, as he has accumulated 12,209 passing yards, 101 Touchdowns to 38 Interceptions, while also adding 4,437 yards on the ground and another 24 Touchdowns, so it makes sense that they want to keep him in town for years to come. The #Ravens will be franchise tagging QB Lamar Jackson this offseason, according to @RapSheet

Adds that his sense is that it would be the "Exclusive Franchise Tag" which prevents teams from signing him. pic.twitter.com/C2JBWrIoVw
