Baltimore Ravens Defensive Lineman Campbell Out For Week 17
The Baltimore Ravens will be without their veteran leader in the front seven for their crucial AFC North matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Defensive lineman Calais Campbell is officially inactive for tonight's Week 17 matchup.
Campbell has been unavailable since suffering a knee injury in the Ravens' 13-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 13. Consistently one of the league's most dominant defensive linemen, the six-time Pro Bowler has compiled 5.5 sacks, 36 tackles, and a solid 76.6 overall grade from Pro Football Focus over his 13 appearances this year.Inactives for tonight’s game vs. the Steelers. pic.twitter.com/hXo3N2DNku

The stakes are high in the Ravens' matchup with the Steelers tonight. A loss could eliminate the Ravens from contention for the AFC North crown, pending Monday Night Football's showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills. Meanwhile, a loss for the Steelers could eliminate them from the Wildcard race.
The Ravens need a victory tonight to set up a throwdown for all the marbles against the Bengals in Week 18. Winning out would guarantee the Ravens a division title and a home playoff game.
