Atlanta Falcons Interview Saints Coach For Defensive Coordinator Role

After a promising start to the 2022 NFL season, the Atlanta Falcons fell off in a massive way, and while both sides of the ball need plenty of work, their first priority will be finding a solid Defensive Coordinator to lead the way.

Nearing the end of their search, the team had yet another interview today, with the New Orleans Saints co-Defensive Coordinator Ryan Nielsen, who has also had an interview with Minnesota for the same role, as he is becoming one of the most sought after young defensive coaches in the NFL.

At this point, it's unclear who the favourite is to land the job, but if the Falcons can find their man and add talent around A.J. Terrell on the defensive side of the ball, as well as more weapons on the other side, this could be a team competing for an NFC South crown in 2023.
