Atlanta Falcons Defensive Coordinator Announces Retirement
The Atlanta Falcons 2022 season was full of ups and downs, but eventually, they just didn't have the depth and the talent to make a playoff run, but with Tyler Allgeier, Drake London and Kyle Pitts, the offence has some talent going forward, which should give Falcons fans optimism.
Unfortunately, the defence has already suffered a massive loss since the season ended yesterday, as veteran Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees officially announced his retirement at the age of 73 after 18 years and multiple jobs across the NFL.
With plenty of names out there to fill the job, and enough talent on this team to be a competitive squad on the defensive side of the ball, they should draw plenty of interested parties for this job, but overall, Pees has a tremendous career in college and the NFL, and his time should be remembered fondly by players and fans.#Falcons DC Dean Pees just informed players he is retiring, per sources.
