Arizona Cardinals Star Limited In Practice Ahead Of Final Career Game
The Arizona Cardinals have just one game left on their 2022 schedule, a meeting with the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers, so perhaps the biggest news of the weekend will be the team farewelling one of the best defensive players of this generation, as J.J. Watt takes the field in the NFL one last time.
However, that's not appearing like a guarantee at this point, as he was limited on Thursday in practice due to a groin injury, but given how tough he's proven to be over his career, there's very little chance that he misses his career finale.
Over his career, Watt was a 3-time Defensive Player of the Year, a 7-time All-Pro and a 5-time Pro Bowler, and he will go down as an all time player, and in time, will very likely be a first ballot Hall of Famer when the time comes. How fitting: DE J.J. Watt added to Cardinals injury report Thursday as limited with groin injury. T Kelvin Beachum (knee/ankle) goes from DNP to limited, LB/S Isaiah Simmons (ankle) from limited to full. Players new to the report this week as DNP: WR Robbie Anderson (back),
