Two Vikings Players Designated To Return From IR
After a shaky win over the New York Jets in Week 13, the Minnesota Vikings have got themselves to 11-2 on the year, and are one win away from clinching the NFC North that has belonged to Green Bay for the past few years, and now, the team is getting some much needed reinforcements before they take on the red-hot Detroit Lions in Week 14.
As was rumoured yesterday, the Vikings are officially activating cornerback Cam Dantzler off Injured Reserve, opening his 21-day practice window, with plenty of confidence that he could be available for Week 14, or at the latest, the Week 15 clash with the Indianapolis Colts.
On top of that, they've also activated rookie fifth round pick Ty Chandler, a running back with plenty of potential as a returner, runner and a pass catcher out of the backfield, and although he hasn't contributed thus far in his rookie season, the team see plenty of potential in him going forward. The Vikings followed through today on their plan to designate CB Cam Dantzler to return for practice. He has been on the IR for 4 weeks because of a sprained ankle. They also designated rookie RB Ty Chandler for return; he fractured his thumb in Week 5.
