Two Key Chicago Bears Absent From Wednesday Practice

With the incredible run of the Detroit Lions, the promising turnaround for Chicago has fallen by the wayside, as they've officially fallen out of playoff contention, so they should be using the next three weeks to look at the talent that's going to make up the future of this team around starting Quarterback Justin Fields, who's proven himself to be a potential star this year.

Two of those pieces are Chase Claypool, acquired from Pittsburgh at the trade deadline and Teven Jenkins, a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and while they've been solid in their times with Chicago, the jury is still out on whether they can be stars for this team going forward.

Today, both men were absent from practice just days ahead of their matchup with the incredibly tough Buffalo Bills, and with such bright futures in Chicago, the next three games could be key to them solidifying their place as key members of the franchise going forward.
