Two Key Buccaneers Defenders Expected To Play On Monday Night Football
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the New Orleans Saints in a crucial divisional matchup on Monday Night Football, as they could potentially increase their lead in the NFC South to an insurmountable distance with a victory, so getting two of their most vital players back would be a massive boost for TB12 and this Bucs squad.
Thankfully for the Buccaneers, both Vita Vea and Akiem Hicks are expected to play tonight against New Orleans, and with so much talent missing this season through injury, this is a major development, and while they're both still listed as questionable, it's been confirmed they'll be on the field in Week 13.
Tampa Bay have struggled up front on the defensive side of the ball thus far in 2022, so this will help in a big way, as on the year, the two have combined for 6.5 sacks and 40 tackles, and if they can make an impact and force Andy Dalton to beat them through the air, this should be a game the Buccaneers can take as they look for yet another NFC South crown. The #Bucs are expected to have both defensive linemen Akiem Hicks and Vita Vea tonight vs. the #Saints, sources say. Both are listed as questionable.
