Titans Confirm Starting Quarterback For Thursday's Game

Getting another start.

Malik Willis will start at quarterback for the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

With Ryan Tannehill ruled out again, Willis will draw another start. Tannehill is not expected back until the playoffs, and given the performance of Willis thus far, there doesn't appear to be a great chance of the Titans making it beyond Week 18.

With the game this Thursday basically meaningless in terms of the AFC playoff picture, the Titans are holding out Derrick Henry and other key players. 

On a positive note, because it's a seemingly meaningless game, this could give Willis a chance to be a little more loose with his game and attempt some plays he wouldn't normally do in a normal game, especially against such a good defense as the Cowboys.
