Tennessee Titans Quarterback Placed On Injured Reserve
The Tennessee Titans will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football, but with two weeks to go in the season, this game has no bearing on the playoffs, as they look to a win-and-in situation in Week 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and unfortunately today, they took a major blow to their chances in that matchup.
Despite their hopes that Ryan Tannehill would be available for the crucial Week 18 matchup, today it became clear that their hopes weren't going to come true, as they've now placed him on Injured Reserve, meaning that his season is now done.
That means that now Week 18 against the Jaguars will see them start underwhelming rookie Malik Willis or Joshua Dobbs, who will get the start today on Thursday Night Football, and at this point, it's safe to say that Tennessee will come into that matchup as a massive underdog.Titans placed QB Ryan Tannehill on injured reserve, effectively ending his season. Tannehill underwent ankle surgery last week.
