Tampa Bay Buccaneers Linebacker Trending Towards A Return In Week 17
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers season somewhat hangs in the balance as they take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 17, and with so many injuries in recent times, they need some good news if they are to make a run in the coming weeks, and on Friday, they got plenty of promising news.
Veteran linebacker Carl Nassib practiced for his second straight day, and according to the Buccaneers, he is trending in the direction of a return from a pectoral injury that has kept him off the field for the past two weeks.
Over his career, Nassib has been a solid player for Cleveland, Las Vegas and Tampa Bay, and has racked up 24 sacks, 1 interception, 4 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries and 16 passes deflected, and while he hasn't been a star, he's a key piece for this Bucs defence, and a return would be much welcomed in Week 17.Bucs OLB Carl Nassib also practicing again today and would seem in play to return Sunday after missing two games with a pectoral injury.
