Steelers Officially Announce Starting QB For Week 15
The Pittsburgh Steelers 2022 season certainly hasn't played out the way that they would have liked, and for the most part, the Quarterback situation has certainly played a big role in that, with rookie Kenny Pickett learning the ropes as he goes, but after a second stint in concussion protocol, it looks like he's set to miss at least one week.
Today, the Steelers announced that veteran Mitch Trubisky would once again be under centre in Week 15 as they take on the Carolina Panthers, and while their season is over, they've got plenty of young talent that they'd like to develop, so this gives them a chance with a veteran QB to get valuable reps in.
At this point, it's tough to say how long Pickett will be out, as there's a chance that the team want to be cautious with his future, but either way, it's the veteran Trubisky who lost the job to Pickett that will go in Week 15 as the Steelers look to finish 2022 on a strong note.QB Mitch Trubisky will start Sunday’s game against the Panthers. pic.twitter.com/T5CGZlrCKO
