He was forced out of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens early with the injury.
Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Chris Wormley will undergo surgery on his knee and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Pat Freiermuth is managing a foot injury, which could explain why we saw him with a boot on in the locker room after the game Sunday.
Wormley has been a solid run-down defender for the Steelers, recording 29 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery over 13 games this season. Last season, the twenty-nine year racked up seven sacks over 15 games.
Set to be a free agent at the end of the season, and given that his injury is not a long-term one, Wormley could be in line for a nice payday this offseason.
He is a former third-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2017 NFL Draft.
