Seattle Seahawks Place Tight End On Injured Reserve

The Seattle Seahawks had a surprisingly solid season behind the first Pro Bowl year for veteran Geno Smith, giving them confidence that they can build this franchise back into a winner going forward, but for the last two games of the season, they'll now be without one of their key offensive weapons.

That would be tight end Will Dissly, a fourth round pick from the 2018 NFL Draft who has racked up 100 catches for 1,130 yards and 12 Touchdowns over his career, and someone that's having a career year thus far in 2022, setting career bests in catches and yards while adding three Touchdowns.

The Seahawks playoff push was halted by the incredible form of the San Francisco 49ers who ended up running away with the NFC West, but with all the talent this Seattle team has, along with the pieces added in the Russell Wilson deal, they have a chance to take a big step forward next season.
