Seahawks Rookie Cleared To Play On Thursday Night Football
The Seattle Seahawks chances of winning the NFC West could very well be on the line tomorrow night as they take on the division leading San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football, and after a disappointing loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 14, a bounce back becomes even more important to their playoff chances.
Thankfully, today they received some great news, as rookie running back Kenneth Walker was taken off the teams injury report, and while he's being officially listed as Questionable, the team desperately need him if they are to mount any offence against one of the leagues elite defensive units.
In his rookie campaign, Walker is well within the Offensive Rookie of the Year discussion, with 765 All-Purpose yards to go along with 9 Touchdowns since becoming Seattle's lead running back, and if they have any hopes of making it back to the Super Bowl under Geno Smith, he'll need to be there to give this team balance.Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III does not have a game designation for Thursday’s matchup with the 49ers, putting him in line to return to action after missing Week 14.
