Philadelphia Eagles Tackle To Play Through The 2022 Playoffs
The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a massive loss last week, when they found out that star offensive tackle Lane Johnson would miss the remainder of the 2022 season through injury, but today, we have seen a massive backflip on that diagnosis, as it has now been revealed that he will put off surgery for the Eagles Super Bowl push.
The massive blow came in the loss to the division rival Dallas Cowboys when he tore his adductor muscle, needing surgery to recover ahead of the 2022/23 off-season, but now, after consulting several professionals, he is going to put off the surgery in order to play in the playoffs.
This is a massive shock for the Eagles, and will be a huge boost for a team that appears to be one of, if not the deepest and most talented team in the NFL, and if Johnson can play at his best, this is a team that has a genuine chance of capturing their second Super Bowl in franchise history. After consulting with numerous experts, including Dr. William Meyers in Philly, #Eagles Pro Bowl OT Lane Johnson will put off surgery on his torn adductor to rehab for two (or three) weeks and will play in the playoffs, sources say.
