Philadelphia Eagles Edge Rusher to Miss Week 13
The Philadelphia Eagles will be without one of their recent all-in acquisitions when they take the field against the Tennessee Titans this afternoon. Edge rusher Robert Quinn is officially inactive for Week 13 with a knee injury.
Quinn tweaked his knee in practice earlier this week. He has played 70 snaps for the Eagles since they acquired him for a 2023 fourth-round pick from the Chicago Bears earlier this season at the trade deadline.Today's inactives #TENvsPHI pic.twitter.com/xNfSkos9jE

Quinn has been a somewhat underwhelming addition to an Eagles team trying to push for the league's best record and home-field advantage in the NFC. He has totalled two tackles and has failed to register a sack in his five appearances with the team, but that may be as much to do with the Eagles' abundant talent as Quinn's own failings. Despite the modesty of Quinn's production, the Eagles rank first in net yards per passing attempt allowed and second in net passing yards allowed while tallying 36 sacks in 11 games.
Quinn entered the league as the St Louis Rams' 14th overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has reached dizzying highs in the NFL, notching 19 sacks in 2014 and 18.5 in 2021, but he has done plenty of toiling in anonymity too. He notched two sacks in 15 appearances in 2020 and has one sack in 12 appearances between the Eagles and Bears this year.
