No Suspension For Los Angeles Chargers Star Following MNF
The Los Angeles Chargers came into the 2022 with a mountain of expectations given the talent on both sides of the ball, and in Week 16, they punched their ticket to the playoffs once again following a solid win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football.
The biggest talking point coming out of that game however was the ejection of star safety Derwin James, who was ejected following his helmet-to-helmet hit on Colts receiver Ashton Dulin, which also left him in the NFL's concussion protocol, and today, it's been confirmed that no suspension will be handed down as a result.
This doesn't confirm a return ahead of the Week 17 clash with their LA rival Rams, as he will need to clear the NFL's concussion protocol before he can return, but it's good news for their playoff aspirations, as this defence is finally hitting their strides.#Chargers S Derwin James won’t be suspended for the hit on #Colts WR Ashton Dulin that led to James’ ejection Monday night, per source. James could be fined.
