NFL Three Stars For Week 14: Running Back
The running back position has become crucial to any offence in the NFL in recent times, with 100+ yard rushing games becoming the norm, and while we've seen some amazing performances this season, it seems to be different names each and every week stepping up to the plate, and this week is absolutely no different.
3. J.K. Dobbins
Stat line: 15 carries, 120 yards, 1 Touchdown.
Week 14 was the long awaited return for Baltimore of running back J.K. Dobbins, who has been dealing with knee injuries for quite some time, and while he didn't look at 100% throughout the game, he was impactful enough, and if he can stay healthy upon Lamar Jackson's return, this will be a dangerous playoff team.
2. Christian McCaffrey
Stat line: 14 carries, 119 yards, 1 Touchdown, 2 catches, 34 yards, 1 Touchdown.
Christian McCaffrey was traded to the 49ers at the trade deadline from Carolina, and at this point in time, it looks like a fantastic deal for both sides, as he's going to work as the teams best weapon with young QB Brock Purdy in, and if he can replicate his Week 14 performance each week, this team is a dark horse in the NFC playoff run.
1. Miles Sanders
Stat line: 17 carries, 144 yards, 2 Touchdowns.
The Philadelphia Eagles offence has been humming as of late, with Hurts, Sanders and Brown all looking elite, and with Sanders 144 yards and multiple scores in Week 14, he has emerged as one of the most consistent backs in the NFL, and if this continues through playoffs, this will be an incredibly tough team to stop.
