NFL Rumors: Seahawks Looking To Extend Veteran Quarterback
While the Seattle Seahawks have somewhat fallen off in recent times, they've still looked fantastic thus far in 2022, and for the most part, that can be credited to the breakout season of veteran Quarterback Geno Smith, who is experiencing a career year, with 25 Touchdowns to 8 Interceptions, along with an incredible 71.5 completion percentage.
He is a free agent after the 2022/23 NFL season, and unsurprisingly, it appears that he's about to get paid, as there will be plenty of suitors for him, but if Seattle can get their way, he'll remain in the Pacific North West for years and years to come.
Given that teams like the Jets, Patriots, Colts and others could all be in the market for a starting Quarterback, there's a good chance that Smith could be on the move, but right now, it looks like both sides are potentially going to come towards a massive extension in the coming off-season.Both the #Seahawks and Geno Smith want to sign a long-term deal to keep the QB in Seattle, per @Schultz_Report via @PatMcAfeeShow
