New York Jets Star Will Be Game-Time Decision In Week 15
The New York Jets and Detroit Lions will clash in Week 15 in what should be a fantastic matchup, namely with the Jets elite offence and the red-hot Lions defence, and with so many playoff implications, this one could decide the season for both teams.
In order for the Jets to run the table and lock in their first playoff berth since 2011 however, they'll need their defence rolling, and after suffering a calf injury in the Week 14 loss to Buffalo, they'll be sweating on the health of Quinnen Williams, who is considered a genuine game-time decision, with a 50-50 chance he plays.
With 11 sacks on the year, Williams is playing at an All-Pro level and leading arguably the best defence in the entire NFL, and with so much talent on the Lions offence, the difference between a win and a loss in this one could be Williams health, so it's a huge story heading into Sunday.Jets’ DT Quinnen Williams, listed as questionable for Sunday vs. the Lions due to a calf injury, is “truly a 50-50 call” and the team doesn’t plan to decide until pre-game warmups whether to play him, per source.
