New York Jets Star Leaves Game With Injury
The New York Jets are currently down to the AFC leading Buffalo Bills 7-0 as the second half begins, and right now, this game has been all about the lack of offence and the injuries, but perhaps the biggest of all is the injury to superstar defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.
Williams recorded his 11th sack of the season in the first half, and is well on his way to an All-Pro selection in 2022, so when he went down clutching his leg on a non-contact play, Jets fans were horrified as he limped to the locker room.
He hasn't been seen again to this point, and is considered questionable to return, but the Jets have informed the fans that it was a calf injury, not a knee injury like many have been worried about, so while he may not return to this one, that's some positive news.DL Quinnen Williams (calf) is questionable to return #NYJvsBUF
