New York Giants Claim Young Guard On Waivers
The NFL is a tough business, and sometimes, players find their homes and perform on the field immediately upon entering the league, while others will bounce around before realizing that potential, and one player that firmly fits that second category is former Ohio State guard Wyatt Davis.
Davis was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and since that point, he's been waived and claimed by the New Orleans Saints and Arizona, and yesterday, he found himself claimed yet again, this time by the New York Giants.
At this point, it's tough to pinpoint exactly why teams aren't holding onto and believing in Davis, but he may just not be good enough to keep around, but with the Giants needing depth along the offensive line, this could be a great move, so we will wait and see if he's finally found the home he needs to succeed. The Giants have claimed OL Wyatt Davis off of waivers from the Cardinals and waived TE Chris Myarick.
