New Orleans Saints Place Guard On IR

The New Orleans Saints have placed Cesar Ruiz on injured reserve.

Ruiz suffered a foot injury last game, and now the Saints have a notable hole in their lineup because of it. This is not ideal, as the Saints are looking to catch up to the 6-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get on top of the NFC South. The division is still up for grabs, so this is certainly not good news being without Ruiz.

In 14 games this season, Ruiz has one combined tackle.
