New Orleans Saints Claim Running Back On Waivers
The New Orleans Saints have struggled throughout 2022 to build momentum, and even with all of the talent we see on the offensive side of the ball, they've fallen all the way to last place in the NFC South, but today, they made a solid move for the future.
For the second time in 2022, young running back Eno Benjamin was put on waivers, and today, the New Orleans Saints have officially claimed him, and it looks like he could be a solid backup to Alvin Kamara for years to come, even with Mark Ingram and David Johnson currently on this active roster.
In 2022, Benjamin has played with both Arizona and Houston, racking up almost 500 All-Purpose yards and 2 Touchdowns while primarily serving as a backup, and after the Saints saw what he could do first hand back in Week 7, this was a great move that could serve them very well for the future.Saints claimed former Texans’ and Cardinals’ RB Eno Benjamin on waivers today, per league source. His agents, @DrewJRosenhaus and @JasonRosenhaus, also confirmed the move.
