Miami Dolphins Sign Former No. 1 Overall Pick

The Miami Dolphins made two massive moves along the offensive line today, as they placed 2020 first-round pick Austin Jackson on Injured Reserve, and in a corresponding move, have added a former No. 1 overall pick to their active roster.

That would be Eric Fisher, who was taken No. 1 overall by the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2013, and after an impressive stint with the team, injuries have stopped him from finding a permanent home, with a stop in Indianapolis in 2021 the only other place he's been since being released by the Chiefs.

While Fisher hasn't been bad, it's tough to say that he's lived up to the hype of his draft position, as he made just two Pro Bowls in his career thus far, but with Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle leading one of the most dangerous offence's in the NFL right now, if he can come in and play well, he will bring talent and experience to a team that seems ready to take the next step in 2022.
