Los Angeles Chargers Star Safety Ruled Out For Week 17
The Los Angeles Chargers have officially punched their ticket to the 2022 NFL playoffs with their latest win over the Indianapolis Colts, and while these next two games will do nothing but effect their playoff seedings, they're crucial for a young team to build momentum ahead of the most important games of the year.
Unfortunately, during that dominant win over Indianapolis, safety Derwin James was not only ejected for his helmet-to-helmet hit on wide receiver Ashton Dulin, but he entered concussion protocol himself, and with crucial post-season games coming up in a matter of weeks, they've played it safe in Week 17, officially ruling him out.
On the year, James has been as good as ever, earning the third Pro Bowl nomination of his career, and if this stacked Chargers team is to make any noise in the playoffs, their defensive leader will need to be fit and at his best.#LARvsLAC game status
