Lions Defensive Tackle Ready To Make Season Debut
Ready to make his season debut.
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Friday he's confident that linebacker Romeo Okwara will be able to play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Activated Romeo Okwara from Reserve/PUP and Jameson Williams from Reserve/NFI
Placed Julian Okwara on Reserve/Injured
Elevated Ross Pierschbacher from the Practice Squad to the Active/Inactive List
Campbell said, ''we certainly see him going and having a role for us.''
Okwara has not been able to play yet this year due to the torn Achilles he suffered back in Week 4 of last season, but he's now expected to finally return and start at defensive end for Sunday.
The last time he was healthy for a majority of the season was back in 2020, when he recorded 44 total tackles, 10 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one pass defended over 16 games. There's a good chance the twenty-seven-year-old is on a snap count this week.
