Las Vegas Raiders Star Pass Catchers Officially Active for Week 15
The Las Vegas Raiders should have a chance to let it rip like they seldom have this season in Week 15 against the New England Patriots. Wide receiver Hunter Renfrow and tight end Darren Waller are officially active for Sunday's game.
Waller has missed eight games this season with a lingering hamstring injury. Renfrow has missed seven games with a concussion, an oblique injury, and ailing hips and ribs.Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow are officially active today. Ya-Sin misses his second straight game. With Bars out and Muti inactive, I would imagine Jermaine Eluemunor would start at RG with Thayer Munford at RT, but we'll see. https://t.co/pfA9GvMm1a
Waller and Renfrow were the centrepieces of a 2021 Raider offense that scored the 18th most points in the league and earned a Wildcard berth. They finished first and second in receiving yards and catches on the team, combining for 158 receptions, 1703 yards, and 11 touchdowns. The Raiders haven't had much opportunity this year to see how the pair fits with recently acquired wide receiver Davante Adams, who has amassed an amazing 1247 receiving yards and a league-leading 12 touchdowns in his first season with the team.
Waller joined the Raiders as a free agent in 2018. He was a late bloomer in the league, breaking out in his fourth season for 90 receptions and 1145 yards and earning a Pro Bowl for an impressive follow-up year in which he totalled 1196 yards and nine touchdowns. Renfrow was the Raiders' 149th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He earned a Pro Bowl in 2021 thanks to his 103 receptions for 1038 yards and three touchdowns.
