Las Vegas Raiders QB Benched; Leaves Team

The Las Vegas Raiders are benching Derek Carr for their final two games of the season. With that, Carr has left the team for the remainder of the season to avoid being a distraction.

It has been an underwhelming season for Carr and the Raiders, so perhaps this decision is not all too surprising. In 15 starts this season, Carr has 24 touchdowns, a league-leading 14 interceptions, and 3,522 passing yards. Overall, it has been a year of mixed results, and now he has lost his starting job because of it.

Alas, this is a situation that we will have to pay close attention to during the offseason.
