The Jets claimed Parks off waivers late in the 2021 season and re-signed him this past March.
The twenty-eight-year-old made one start for the team this season, appearing in 11 games, and recording five total tackles.
With his experience and appeal on special teams, Parks could generate some interest on the waiver wire.
A former sixth-round pick by the Denver Broncos in the 2016 NFL Draft, Parks has registered 194 total tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, four interceptions and 14 passes defended across 86 career games.
