Jets Cornerback To Miss Sunday's Game
An early rule-out for the cornerback.
The New York Jets have ruled out cornerback Brandin Echols for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions due to a quadriceps injury.

Echols played almost solely on special teams this past week during the team's Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He also appeared to have picked up a quadriceps injury, which is significant enough that the team has already ruled him out.
In 13 games this season, the twenty-five-year-old has eight total tackles and two passes defended. As a result, his absence shouldn't affect the team's defense too much.
Echols is a former sixth-round pick by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft.
