Injury Update On Philadelphia Eagles Star Tackle
The Philadelphia Eagles put on an impressive display in Week 14, dominating the rival New York Giants by a score of 48-22, and while there's plenty of optimism about their chances coming out of this one, they did leave with concerns surround one of their most important pieces, Lane Johnson, who left the victory early on with an injury.
Thankfully for the Eagles, the injury update is good news, as the abdominal injury that saw him leave the game isn't a serious one, and while he is considered day-to-day going forward, and could potentially miss a week out of caution (something the 12-1 Eagles can afford), he will be good to go in no time.
The 32-year old was a first-round pick of the Eagles back in 2013, going at No. 4 overall, and thus far hasn't disappointed, as he was crucial to their Super Bowl win, along with gaining 3 Pro Bowl nominations and being named an All-Pro twice, and if they are to make it to the big dance once more, they'll need him fit and healthy.#Eagles RT Lane Johnson, who went down Sunday with an abdominal injury, did not suffer a major injury and is considered day-to-day, source said. Some good news.
