Injury Update On Jacksonville Jaguars Quarterback
The Jacksonville Jaguars may not have a stellar record in 2022, but they've certainly been a very tough team to play each and every week, and while the defence has been solid, it's the continued development of 2021 No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence that gives this organization the most optimism moving forward.
The last thing this franchise then needs is a long-term injury to their young Quarterback, so thankfully, the latest update after Lawrence's nasty hit in Week 13 is a good one. Head Coach Doug Pederson told the media today that while Trevor won't practice today, he is considered day-to-day going forward, meaning that any fears of a long-term injury have thankfully been alleviated.
There's optimism that Lawrence could be available for Week 14 against the division rival Titans, but if not, he should be ready to go to end the season on a high note, and with improvements all across the board statistically in 2022, they've got to be happy about his progression thus far.Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said QB Trevor Lawrence won’t practice today with sprained big toe on his left foot but Pederson believes Lawrence will practice later this week.
