Injury Update On Dallas Cowboys Linebacker
The Dallas Cowboys suffered a shock loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15, but due to the Commanders loss, they've officially punched their ticket to the 2022 playoffs, and now, they've got an even bigger boost, with a positive update on linebacker Leighton Vander Esch.
Vander Esch left the game with what seemed like a neck injury, but today, the team had a positive update, confirming that it was just a shoulder injury, and unless there's a setback, they expect their starting linebacker to play again in 2022.
While he hasn't become the star many expected early in his career, he has still been a positive contributor for the Cowboys when healthy, racking up 90 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and 1 pass defended thus far in 2022, and he will be key for this defence as they make their way to the playoffs.Tests show Leighton Vander Esch hurt shoulder, Cowboys expect him back this year. https://t.co/ogfquDvHtS
